GERMINATING CANNABIS SEEDS CHERRY PIE WEED
It is important to germinate your Cherry Pie OG weed carefully if you want to have a healthy harvest from day one. Although there are several methods to germinate our Feminized cannabis seeds, at Marifinder, we recommend our customers to follow our easy and simple technique.
Before removing our Cherry Pie seeds from their packaging, remember that cannabis seeds are alive and delicate. Hands can be full of bacteria that can easily infect seeds and ruin the germination process.
Set Up Your Germination Station: Begin by moistening two paper towels with room temperature water. Lay one paper towel on a plate and spread the seeds on it, spacing them about 2 cm apart. Place the second paper towel on top of the seeds, and make sure to remove any excess water from the plate. Cover the setup with another opaque plate and store it in a warm, dark location.
Monitoring: Make sure paper towels are still moist by checking every 4-6 hours and spraying room temperature water. Typically, germination should occur within 24 to 120 hours. Once the seeds have sprouted tap roots, plant them with the roots facing down and cover with about 2 cm of soil. Remember to water the soil regularly by spraying to keep it moist. It may take up to two weeks for the plants to start growing.
Ideal Conditions: Maintain a consistent temperature of 70-90ºF in the germination area. Use purified room temperature bottled water with a pH level between 5.5 and 7. Keep the seeds away from light, allowing exposure for less than 1 minute before and during germination. Avoid touching the seeds or applying pressure to them.
Record Keeping: To qualify for the three month germination guarantee, it is necessary to follow all the steps outlined in our germination guidelines. Please do not use alternative germination methods, such as using a water bottle or planting directly into soil. Document the germination process through photography or video, as it will be requested when assessing claims for replacement products.

If you would like to grow your seeds indoors, be sure to have good tents, textile pots for growing, LED lighting, an air extractor to circulate clean air, and of course a good carbon filter to avoid problems with neighbors or the law.
Keep daytime temperatures between 68℉-80℉ and nighttime temperatures between 7℉-9℉ cooler.
This strain Feminized plants need low humidity to thrive. Keep relative humidity (RH) levels at 55%-60% during the vegetative phase. reduce RH to around 40% during the flowering phase. By harvest time, you can reduce RH to 30%.
Outdoors: growers in the northern hemisphere should sow their cannabis seeds in April for harvest in mid-October. Healthy Feminized Cherry Pie seeds produce about 3 – 4 oz/plant | 100 – 120 gr/plant of buds each.
Indoors: these crops have a flowering time of 8 – 10 weeks and produce about 1.15 – 1.64 oz/ft2 | 350 – 500 gr/m2.
Ideal Climate for Growing
For optimal cultivation, the Cherry Pie strain favors a Mediterranean or temperate climate characterized by gentle warmth and consistent sunlight. The strain thrives at temperatures within the range of 70-85°F (21-29°C). These conditions promote the healthiest growth and the fullest expression of the strain’s unique, fruity flavor profile. Cherry Pie prefers well-draining soil and an annual precipitation between 15-30 inches (380-760mm) to prevent root rot.
Across the United States, states that offer favorably warm and moderate climates, conducive to Cherry Pie cultivation, include California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, and Louisiana. These conditions best enhance Cherry Pie’s special genetic characteristics. Furthermore, states with coastal areas, such as Oregon and Washington, also have an ideal climate due to their mild autumn seasons. By selecting the perfect location and carefully maintaining the right temperature, growers can ensure a bountiful harvest of this sweet and satisfying strain.
WHAT DOES THE CHERRY PIE STRAIN SMELL LIKE?
The buds of the Cherry Pie strain are rock hard, soaked in resin and often have a crystalline sheen due to the amount of trichomes. They look as if they came from the moon and are excessively covered with resinous trichomes. The taste can be described as the perfect blend of blueberry, earthy, and sweet flavors.
This strain makes a delicious soft smoke and combines a wide range of effects including a strong and relaxing experience. Its rare genes produce a premium weed that is hard to beat. Thanks to its large resin production, it is the ideal strain for the production of high quality extracts and concentrates. A good terpene profile enhances the flavors of the buds of cannabis plants. Terpenes are volatile organic compounds that are produced in the cannabis plant and have an effect on the aroma and flavor of the buds.
These terpenes act as a kind of energizer for the flavors of the buds, as they add a fresh, citrusy touch to the sweeter flavors found in the buds. Terpenes play an important role in the taste and aroma of cannabis which may have any effect on the overall user experience.
For example, some terpenes have sedative properties, while others can act as stimulants. For this reason, it is important to know the different terpenes found in a given cannabis strain before smoking it, in order to get the most out of the flavors and effects they produce.
