It is important to germinate your Purple Kush Feminized cannabis seeds carefully if you want to have a healthy harvest from day one. Although there are several methods to germinate our Feminized cannabis seeds, at Marifinder, we recommend our customers to follow our easy and simple technique. Before removing our Purple Kush seeds from their packaging, remember that cannabis seeds are alive and delicate. Hands can be full of bacteria that can easily infect seeds and ruin the germination process. Set Up Your Germination Station: Begin by moistening two paper towels with room temperature water. Lay one paper towel on a plate and spread the seeds on it, spacing them about 2 cm apart. Place the second paper towel on top of the seeds, and make sure to remove any excess water from the plate. Cover the setup with another opaque plate and store it in a warm, dark location. Monitoring: Make sure paper towels are still moist by checking every 4-6 hours and spraying room temperature water. Typically, germination should occur within 24 to 120 hours. Once the seeds have sprouted tap roots, plant them with the roots facing down and cover with about 2 cm of soil. Remember to water the soil regularly by spraying to keep it moist. It may take up to two weeks for the plants to start growing. Ideal Conditions: Maintain a consistent temperature of 70-90ºF in the germination area. Use purified room temperature bottled water with a pH level between 5.5 and 7. Keep the seeds away from light, allowing exposure for less than 1 minute before and during germination. Avoid touching the seeds or applying pressure to them. Record Keeping: To qualify for the three month germination guarantee, it is necessary to follow all the steps outlined in our germination guidelines
In addition to its exceptional effects, Purple Kush seeds boasts a relatively short flowering time, making it a favorite for growers. Although they are compact and robust, moderately easy to grow and hardy, always be sure to prevent any pests. You can use different growing methods to retain and enhance the terpenes and flavors of your Feminized Purple Kush buds.
  • Use a quality substrate. Perlite, peat, or coco coir are ideal for moisture retention.
  • Thanks to the experience of our customers with our Feminized Purple Kush seeds, we know that we can increase yields up to 20%.
For optimal indoor cultivation, Marifinder advises wide, vertical spaces and the use of the ScrOG method
Purple Kush thrives best in climates similar to the Mediterranean, where warm summers and cool, wet winters prevail. The temperature for optimal cultivation falls between 70-80°F 20-27°C, which promotes healthy growth and a higher yield. Lower temperature under controlled conditions induces a vibrant purple hue in the buds, a distinctive of this strain. Purple Kush is relatively resistant to mildew and mold, making it ideal for novice growers. However, growers should still aim for well drained soil, as this allows the roots to breathe, thus preventing water logging. In the United States, the climates of California, Washington State, and Oregon are most suitable for growing Purple Kush. Other states, like Arizona, Texas, and Florida, can also facilitate growth. However, they require slightly more attention to moisture level due to their dry and hot climate. Nevada and North Carolina can also be ideal if the grow is temperature controlled. Purple Kush retains its potent genetics best in these conditions, providing a rich harvest with proper care. Always remember that even though this strain is robust, attention to temperatures and regulated water supplies are paramount in achieving an opulent harvest when cultivating Purple Kush.
The buds of the Purple Kush feminized are rock hard, soaked in resin and often have a crystalline sheen due to the amount of trichomes. They look as if they came from the moon and are excessively covered with resinous trichomes. The taste can be described as the perfect blend of earthy, fruity, and sweet flavors. Purple Kush strain makes a delicious soft smoke and combines a wide range of effects including a happy experience with a good dose of energy. Its rare genes produce a premium weed that is hard to beat. Thanks to its large resin production, it is the ideal strain for the production of high quality extracts and concentrates. A good terpene profile enhances the flavors of the buds of cannabis plants. Terpenes are volatile organic compounds that are produced in the cannabis plant and have an effect on the aroma and flavor of the buds. These terpenes act as a kind of energizer for the flavors of the buds, as they add a fresh, citrusy touch to the sweeter flavors found in the buds. Terpenes play an important role in the taste and aroma of cannabis which may have any effect on the overall user experience. For example, some terpenes have sedative properties, while others can act as stimulants. For this reason, it is important to know the different terpenes found in a given cannabis strain before smoking it, in order to get the most out of the flavors and effects they produce.
