LINEAGE MIMOSA SEEDS
Mimosa seeds resulting from the cross between a Purple Punch x Clementine will produce a mostly sativa hybrid strain 30% Indica / 70% Sativa.
The strain will likely have citrus, orange, pine, and sweet flavors with a strong, mostly sativa body high. It also has a High THC between 24 – 30%, making it a great choice for those looking for a happy experience with a good dose of energy and a combination of cannabis flower, cannabis concentrate, and terpenes which are known for their arthritis, insomnia, and pain relieving properties.
Origin
A vivacious mostly sativa hybrid, is derived from a cross between Purple Punch and Clementine, showcasing a stellar example of American breeding ingenuity. This genetic pairing marries the robust, fruity flavors of Purple Punch (Larry OG x Granddaddy Purple) the sharp, citrusy notes of Clementine (Tangie x Lemon Skunk), resulting in a refreshing and potent strain.
Mimosa seeds are particularly crafted using these distinguished American genetics, ensuring that each seed delivers uniform growth and consistent phenotypic traits. These seeds are preferred by cultivators for their reliability and the dynamic, uplifting effects typical of sativa dominant hybrids.
The genetics of the Mimosa weed strain not only emphasize flavor and potency but also focus on enhancing yield and plant vigor. The feminized seeds simplify the cultivation process, as they are designed to produce only female plants, maximizing the efficiency of the grow space and reducing labor for growers.
This genetic optimization makes this strain an excellent choice for both indoor and outdoor cultivation, adapting well to various climates while maintaining high resin production and a compelling terpene profile. Such attributes make the Mimosa seeds a sought-after option for those aiming to combine ease of growth with exceptional quality and performance.

GERMINATING CANNABIS MIMOSA SEEDS
To ensure a healthy harvest, proper germination of your Mimosa strain seeds is important. While various methods exist for germinating our Feminized cannabis seeds, at Marifinder, we recommend following our straightforward technique.
Before handling Mimosa weed strain, remember they are living and delicate. Hands can harbor bacteria that may infect seeds, compromising germination.
Set Up Your Germination Station: Begin by moistening two paper towels with room temperature water. Lay one paper towel on a plate and spread the seeds on it, spacing them about 2 cm apart. Place the second paper towel on top of the seeds, and make sure to remove any excess water from the plate. Cover the setup with another opaque plate and store it in a warm, dark location.
Monitoring: Make sure paper towels are still moist by checking every 4-6 hours and spraying room temperature water. Typically, germination should occur within 24 to 120 hours. Once the seeds have sprouted tap roots, plant them with the roots facing down and cover with about 2 cm of soil. Remember to water the soil regularly by spraying to keep it moist. It may take up to two weeks for the plants to start growing.
Ideal Conditions: Maintain a consistent temperature of 70-90ºF in the germination area. Use purified room temperature bottled water with a pH level between 5.5 and 7. Keep the seeds away from light, allowing exposure for less than 1 minute before and during germination. Avoid touching the seeds or applying pressure to them.
Record Keeping: To qualify for the three month germination guarantee, it is necessary to follow all the steps outlined in our germination guidelines. Please do not use alternative germination methods, such as using a water bottle or planting directly into soil. Document the germination process through photography or video, as it will be requested when assessing claims for replacement products.
MIMOSA SEEDS FLOWERING TIME
Cultivating the Mimosa strain is a rewarding endeavor, and knowing its flowering time is important for a successful harvest. Typically, this strain flowering period lasts around 9 to 10 weeks, making it relatively fast paced compared to some other strains.
This is particularly advantageous for growers seeking timely yields. By employing proper techniques and providing optimal conditions, growers can encourage the plants to develop dense, resinous buds that embody the strain’s desirable traits.
GROW INFO
Mimosa strain seeds can be grown indoors or outdoors under optimal conditions, to avoid any problems during their development. Although they are compact and robust, moderately easy to grow and hardy, we should always prevent any pests.
You can use different growing methods to retain and enhance the terpenes and flavors of your Feminized Mimosa weed strain buds.
- Use a quality substrate. Perlite, peat, or coco coir are ideal for moisture retention.
- Thanks to the experience of our customers with our Mimosa strain, we know that we can increase yields up to 20%.
For optimal indoor cultivation, Marifinder advises wide, vertical spaces and the use of the ScrOG method to obtain a uniform plane and increase the size of the lower flowers. If you plan to grow our Feminized seeds outdoors, we have developed a grow guide for optimal cultivation in any area of the world. Remember that our cannabis plants also need good nutrients when our Feminized seeds are seedlings, in their vegetative period, and in their flowering period.
When growing cannabis seeds outdoors, choose the best date for your crop and a place where cannabis plants can receive the most hours of sunshine. If you would like to grow your seeds indoors, be sure to have good tents, textile pots for growing, LED lighting, an air extractor to circulate clean air, and of course a good carbon filter to avoid problems with neighbors or the law. Keep daytime temperatures between 68℉-80℉ and nighttime temperatures between 7℉-9℉ cooler.
Mimosa weed strain plants need low humidity to thrive. Keep relative humidity (RH) levels at 55%-60% during the vegetative phase. reduce RH to around 40% during the flowering phase. By harvest time, you can reduce RH to 30%.
Outdoors: growers in the northern hemisphere should sow their cannabis seeds in April for harvest in mid October. Healthy Feminized Mimosa feminized seed produce about 21 – 28 oz/plant | 600 – 800 gr/plant of buds each. Indoors, these crops have a flowering time of 8 – 10 weeks and produce about 2.29 oz/ft2 | 700 gr/m2.
OPTIMAL CLIMATE FOR GROWING
The Mimosa strain thrives in a Mediterranean or tropical climate, particularly in warm summer sub climates with moderate humidity. Ideal temperatures for Mimosa range between 70-85°F (21-29°C), ensuring optimal growth and resin production.
This strain flourishes at latitudes between 30° and 45°, making it well suited for regions with long, sunny growing seasons. While it can adapt to different elevations, lowland areas near sea level provide the most stable growing conditions.
Mimosa prefers moderate to high precipitation (25-40 inches per year) and well drained soil. The best U.S. states for growing Mimosa feminized seeds outdoors include California, Oregon, Florida, Texas, Arizona, and South Carolina.
WHAT DOES THE MIMOSA STRAIN SMELL LIKE?
The buds of this strain are rock hard, soaked in resin and often have a crystalline sheen due to the amount of trichomes. They look as if they came from the moon and are excessively covered with resinous trichomes. The taste can be described as the perfect blend of citrus, orange, pine, and sweet flavors.
Mimosa weed Strain makes a delicious soft smoke and combines a wide range of effects including a happy experience with a good dose of energy. Its rare genes produce a premium weed that is hard to beat. Thanks to its large resin production, it is the ideal strain for the production of high quality extracts and concentrates.
A good terpene profile enhances the flavors of the buds of cannabis plants. Terpenes are volatile organic compounds that are produced in the cannabis plant and have an effect on the aroma and flavor of the buds. The most common terpenes are Alpha Humulene and Alpha-Pinene
These terpenes act as a kind of energizer for the flavors of the buds, as they add a fresh, citrusy touch to the sweeter flavors found in the buds. Terpenes play an important role in the taste and aroma of cannabis which may have any effect on the overall user experience.
For example, some terpenes have sedative properties, while others can act as stimulants. For this reason, it is important to know the different terpenes found in a given cannabis strain before smoking it, in order to get the most out of the flavors and effects they produce.
